I hope statements like this encourage other pastors to embrace Sabbath and sabbaticals. I know that NewHeart was so blessed that you did, Paul; so many people stepped up, stepped out and stepped forward. If only more pastors realized that loosening their grasp like this isn't chintzing their congregation, it's releasing them more fully to God for what can be a unique season of spiritual growth.
